The Human Failure
It is sad these days when people either 'do not care enough' or are 'too afraid of becoming involved' due to possible consequences to render aid to someone in need. As mentioned here, shoppers step over and photograph a
dying woman lying on the floor of a convenience store.
It is hard to say whether things of this nature are from not caring, being unwilling or simply afraid of what will happen to us should we put our neck on the line to help someone else. Have we perhaps become so callous as to human suffereing in our own backyard? It is hard to say, yet it is still very sad.
